Analysis of development of modern mixed martial arts (MMA) in Russia

The purpose of the study is to show the development of mixed martial arts in Russia through the formation of it as a sports discipline in the general system of traditional martial arts. The basis of the formation of modern mixed martial arts is a number of regulatory documents developed and approved by state bodies that regulate the functioning and operation of the federation by sport. To date, the development of the professional direction and the popularization of mixed martial arts in the hands of the all-Russian public organization "Union of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) of Russia." In the study, we analyze the qualitative and quantitative indicators of the number involved in the stages of training, coaching staff and level of professional training, the success of performing at competitions of members of the national team at international competitions.
