The article presents and systematizes the topical problems of modern education in Russia based on the analysis of the materials of the conferences. The key blocks that are of interest to the pedagogical community are highlighted: the problem of a person in the aspect of spirituality, the globalization transformation of the education system and subjects of the pedagogical process, ontological and socio-cultural aspects of the educational system. Modern trends in the development of educational systems leave an imprint on the current problematic research of researchers, which is reflected in the revision of static postulates.
