Information technologies in implementation of competent approach in educational environment

The article is devoted to the problems of changing the educational environment under the influence of modern information and communication technologies. The results of secondary data from sociological studies indicate that information technology has become key in society, affecting various types of interaction in everyday practices. The analysis of theoretical approaches confirms that the introduction of information and communication in education and the widespread use of distance learning has led to the transformation of the educational environment. The issues of fulfilling educational functions, compliance with the requirements of the labor market remain relevant. The modern paradigm of education is quite contradictory, combining, on the one hand, high requirements for vocational training, on the other hand, an increasing demand for a return to the socializing educational function of education.
