Polycultural and global education: possibility of transforming

The aim of the article is to identify perspectives of development of Russian polyculture education from a position of global education. The scientific methods were used to reach the aim: analysis, comparative analysis, synthesis. Based on the research conclusions were made: polycultural and global education have common culturological core which reflecting formation of skills of intercultural collaborations. In aspect of differences global education can be considered as larger educational phenomena. Historical analysis of the theory of polycultural education showed that current global education replaces polycultural education as early polycultural education took out international education. Therefore, further stage of development is transformation to the global education.
