The relevance of this article is due to the close attention of scientists to the speech of young people. The state of the language culture of the younger generation suggests that the speech of teenagers is unstable and reflects the cultural and linguistic state of society. The most important characteristic of the language culture of the younger generation is youth slang. The purpose of the article is to study the problem of the influence of youth slang on the formation of the linguistic picture of the world of adolescents and to find solutions aimed at improving the quality of speech.
