STRUCTURAL ORGANIZATION OF THE CONCEPTUAL FIELD "HOLIDAY" IN MODERN RUSSIAN

The linguistic description of the conceptual field implies a characteristic of its structural organization, taking into account the system of multi-level linguistic means representing the semantic content of this concept. The meaning of the language units that form the conceptual field "HOLIDAY", on the one hand, is an integral part of its field structure, on the other hand, a cognitive reflection of the semantic interpretation of the linguistic consciousness of native speakers. Comprehensive analysis of the linguistic units under consideration, based on various lexicographic sources (School Etymological Dictionary of the Russian Language / edited by N.M. Shansky, 2001); Explanatory dictionary of the living Great Russian language (Dal V.I., 1980); Explanatory dictionary of the Russian language / ed. D. N. Ushakova, 1940; Frequency dictionary of the modern Russian language / ed. HE. Lyashevskaya, S.A. Sharova, 2009; Dictionary of synonyms / ed. A.P. Evgenieva, 2003; Dictionary of synonyms (V.N. Trishin, 2013); Dictionary of the compatibility of words of the Russian language / ed. P. N. Denisova, 2002, allows us to establish the structural and semantic harmony of the conceptual field, its hierarchy and polycentric nature: the level-by-level thematic blocks are determined, corresponding to the stages of the celebration; field organization of the considered conceptual field "HOLIDAY" (core and periphery).
