SIGHT-READING OF MUSIC AS AN INTERCULTURAL PROBLEM OF THE METHODOLOGY OF TEACHING PIANO TO STUDENTS OF RUSSIA AND CHINA

The article deals with the problem of mastering the skills of professional reading of sheet music by piano students of Russian and Chinese universities. An overview of the approaches to the interpretation of the category "reading from a sheet" in Russian and foreign methods is presented; the main components of the process of mastering this skill are revealed; studies devoted to teaching students from the China to read from a sheet are analyzed.
