The article discusses the potential of using case technology in teaching English at the university. It gives the definition of case technology, analyzes the advantages of its application in the modern educational process. The article substantiates the effectiveness of using case technology in teaching English at the university, as it contributes to the solution of important educational tasks in intercultural communication, such as the active participation of students in the learning process, the ability to apply the acquired knowledge in solving various problem situations, and the development of critical thinking. The article proposes the authors` research case, which is used in English lessons and contributes to the development of students' cognitive activity, understanding of real problems and finding ways of their solution.
