The beauty of man in the art picture of the world by Leo Tolstoy

The article considers the theme of human beauty in Tolstoy's novel "War and Peace". The work shows that the spiritual component of female beauty occupies a dominant place in the novel. Particular attention is paid to heroes who have spiritual beauty. Contrasting the spiritual beauty of a person with spirituality to the characters takes the main place in the analysis of Tolstoy's novel"War and Peace". The relevance of the study is due to the fact that the theme of beauty, and especially of women, is vividly traced in Russian linguistic culture. Complex mental education "Beauty" in Russian culture under the direct influence of Orthodoxy, suggests an organic unity of the spiritual and physical perfection of the individual. This idea is especially vividly represented in Tolstoy' s novel "War and Peace". Tolstoy's main idea is reflected in the article. Tolstoy, that a spiritual person is endowed with the best moral qualities, and spirituality can not be good and beauty, because these concepts are closely interrelated. A kind person is beautiful both externally and internally. Analysis of the novel indicates that in Russian classical literature spiritual beauty is represented as the main human dignity. External beauty, without spiritual nobility is assessed negatively.
