The program "Robert Bosch Cultural Managers in the Russian Federation" and its cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of Arkhangelsk County

Stiefenhofer Cornelius   (Stipendiate in the program «Robert Bosch Cultural Managers in the Russian Federation»)

Based on the example of Arkhangelsk region the article reviews the region-wide activities of cultural managers in the program «Robert Bosch Cultural Managers in the Russian Federation» by the German Robert Bosch Foundation. The author describes Germanys approach to foreign cultural politics, the Robert Bosch Foundation, and the Cultural Managers program. On one hand, this program allows the scholarship holder to gather practical experience and to increase his professional qualification. On the other hand, the program supports the Russian-German cooperation in the cultural field and encourages the forming of an international image of the Arkhangelsk region in Europe.
