The agriculture features in Dagestan by Russian settlers in the second half of XIX - early XX centuries

The article is devoted to the identification and investigation of the crop farming features in Dagestan by Russian settlers in the second half of XIX - early XX centuries. Special attention was paid to the conditions and distinctive features of Russian resettlement in Dagestan. In details were analyzed the distinctive features of the agriculture in Dagestan, a special emphasis was made to the labor instruments, the land cultivation, varieties and types of grown crops . Were highlighted the difficulties, that farmers have faced with in the process of Dagestan land habitation, as well as their achievements and contribution to the agriculture development of the region.
