English borrowings in the Russian language

The article is devoted to the study of English borrowings that appear in all strata of our vocabulary, spontaneously capturing all spheres of our life: economy, politics, sports, arts, etc. When borrowing lexical units there is a direct influence on the language picture of the world, presenting a threat to national culture and traditions. The fact of the appearance of English words in the languages of the world reflects not only the dynamics of language development, but also its global proliferation. The flexibility of English allows it to respond quickly to changes occurring in the world, to reflect the new realities and thereby to change at any level. Together with the English borrowings the Anglo-American model of society is transmitted in the language, which certainly affects the language picture of the world of the language-recipient.
