Stereotypic representations of the wind in the Russian lingvoculture

The article describes the analysis of stable expressions of the Russian language (phraseological units, stable comparisons, proverbs, winged phrases), in which stereotyped perception by the language personality of the given natural phenomenon is presented. Most often, a negative perception of the wind as a destructive phenomenon is found. The wind is unstable, it does not preserve values, it dispels them. This is a strong phenomenon, the dynamics of which contrasts with the unhurried course of human life. The wind symbolizes a person's ability to squander what is given to him (life) or acquired (money, material and other values). Since the given qualities of a person in lingvoculture are blamed, then the wind ("pustit' na veter") is also negatively perceived. The wind also symbolizes emptiness, since it requires a large space. This interpretation of the wind is also negative ("veter v golove"). Negatively, the wind is interpreted as a phenomenon dictating to a person a certain direction of movement, requiring movement in a certain direction ("otkuda veter duyet"). Positive perception of the wind is less common, in this case such qualities as freedom, speed, strength ("svobodnyy kak veter") are actualized. Stereotype ideas about the wind in Russian linguoculture are related, in the author's opinion, to the constant interaction of the Russian people with the wind, dependence on it, the influence of the wind on the harvest, the formation of well-being and, in general, life.
