Communicativity as one of the basic principles in the theory and method of development of Russian speech

The article is devoted to the consideration of the communicative principle as a mechanism for the formation of oral and written Russian speech, which determines the conduct of exercises with a communicative orientation. The communicative aspect of learning is studied, aimed at the development of communicative and speech knowledge, skills. The basic concepts are described: speech, language, communication, communicative competence. An analysis is made of various literary sources to study the problems of speech development of a person, starting from the ancient period, and to the present. The article notes the communicative tasks, including communicative-speech interconnectedness; the peaceful settlement of a dispute; achievement of mutual understanding in the process of putting forward their ideas, hypotheses, points of view, etc. The work indicates that the communicative orientation of exercises increases the interest in their implementation, enhances the motivation of students to learn, which subsequently positively affects speech development. The manuscript also distinguishes fundamental methods and types of exercises with a communicative orientation: creating speech situations, speech games, trips and excursions, verbal drawing, keeping diaries, creating stories on imagination, and, of course, creative attempts in prose, poetry, and dramatic genres. The results of a study aimed at identifying the level of students' speech development, including the creation of a problem communicative-speech situation, are presented. And also errors and shortcomings made by the students in the research process are noted. And on the basis of which some practical recommendations are offered on improving the methodology of work aimed at the development of Russian speech. In conclusion, the conclusion is drawn from the results of the study and the importance of studying this issue.
