Changes in the forms of salutations in Russian and Chinese in the XX-XXI centuries

this article examines the changes in the forms of Russian and Chinese salutations used in the dialogue between strangers, in the historical aspect (from the XX century to the present day) and the identification of factors that affect the changes in salutations in Russia and China. Analyzing the factors that influence changes in the forms of salutations, the author came to the conclusion that the evolution of salutations is closely related to the economic, cultural and political changes taking place in society and сountry.
