Criteria accompanist skills in teaching piano students

The article is devoted to the identification of criteria for the formation of accompanist mastery among students-pianists. According to the author, the content of the fundamentals of accompanist mastery is represented by professional, performing and concert criteria, which are the "bricks" of the theoretical foundation in building a methodology for the formation of professionally significant components of the accompanist profession. The versatility of each of them allows you to cover various aspects of its activities. Thus, the professional criterion includes theoretical knowledge, performing interpretation, and pedagogical function. In the structure of the fundamentals of accompanist mastery, it is supplemented by the relationship with the concept of "artistic interpretation". The performance criterion is represented by such components as: technological and ensemble functions. The concert criterion is formed by psychological and artistic functions. Here, the author evaluates stage composure and artistry of stage behavior as important elements in teaching piano student accompanist skills. In general, the listed criteria form the structure of the foundations of accompanist mastery, which is considered by the author as a systemically organized joint work of a musician with a partner (s) in an ensemble, including technical skill, communication and possession of volitional qualities, an artistic and creative component aimed at creating a highly artistic interpretation of a musical work.
