FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF RUSSIAN OIL TERMINOLOGY

This article is devoted to the study of the history of Russian oil terminology, external linguistic influence on its development, and the peculiarities of the formation of terminology in the field of the oil industry in the Russian language. The purpose of the study is to identify the internal and external factors that contribute to the emergence and development of the petroleum terminology in a historical context, which plays a crucial role in the study of energy terminology. The meanings of oil-related terms are being revealed for the purpose of expanding the energy terminology space. Defining and describing the types of oil terms from different perspectives, which are involved in the nomination of terms within the field of "Energy" sets the scientific novelty of the research. Exploring a part of the oil terminology within the subject area contributes to the grammatical meanings of the terminology of the studied field of knowledge and activity, as well as to the establishment of the production of new terms and trends in the development of terminological nomenclature, which justifies the relevance and theoretical significance of this research.
