CROSS-CULTURAL ANALYSIS OF THE CONCEPTS "SUN" AND "MOON": ETHNOPSYCHOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF SPEECH REPRESENTATION

Globalization changes actualize the growth of academic mobility, contribute to the processes of renewal of international cultural relations: Russia and China, in their desire for cooperation, are taking active steps to eliminate language and cultural barriers. The article is devoted to the cross-cultural analysis of the ethno-psychological specifics of the Russian and Chinese language concept spheres. The purpose of the study is to consider the speech representation of the concepts "Moon" and "Sun" in Russian and Chinese using an ethnopsychological approach. The hypothesis is the thesis that the correctness of the speech representation of the dichotomy "Sun-Moon" is due to the improvement of knowledge about the ethnopsychological and cultural features of the language being studied. The methodology included general scientific methods: content analysis of relevant sources, external observation, psychological experiment. The structure of the research design was compiled by a survey of respondents - 50 first-year students of the Faculty of International Relations of Buryat State University named after Dorzhi Banzarov aged 19 to 20 years. The results made it possible to differentiate the ethnopsychological specifics of the perception of the concepts under consideration by representatives of Russian and Chinese cultures, which contributed to the formation of their cognitive skills in the field of speech representation of the foreign-language concept sphere of these celestial objects.
