MATHEMATICS IN ENGLISH: ASPECTS OF INTEGRATED TEACHING FOR PRESCHOOL CHILDREN

The relevance of the article is due to the need to study aspects of integrated education for older preschoolers in order to implement high-quality preparation of children for primary school. Analysis of literary sources made it possible to determine that the process of integrated teaching of English and mathematics to senior preschoolers has a two-way focus: parallel formation of elementary mathematical concepts (mastering of mathematical terms, concepts, development of logical operations) and expansion, consolidation of vocabulary, practicing phonetics, mastering grammatical structures of English language. The article reveals the main tasks of the teacher in preparing for classes with children, and also presents mathematical game tasks with the inclusion of English vocabulary according to the sections of the formation of elementary mathematical concepts. In conclusion, the article examines examples of the use of digital gaming platforms and shows the importance of organizing entertaining integrated learning for the formation of stable motivation in older preschoolers to continue studying a foreign language and mathematics in primary school.
