The fast pace of modern people's lives determines the need to move to more relevant ways of learning, which minimize the cost of time resources and, at the same time, contribute to the formation of a personality with a multipolar type of thinking and a wide range of competencies. One of the fundamental and quite in-demand competencies (including among students of humanities) is mathematical, which includes conceptual, logical, operational-algorithmic and applied skills. The technology of the "inverted classroom" relies on the use of digital computer devices and the Internet for the preparation of educational material. At the same time, when teaching exact disciplines in higher educational institutions, teaching in an "interactive classroom" assumes that students prepare a new topic in advance as homework – this significantly saves time and contributes to better memorization of new material. This method maximizes the development of critical and divergent types of thinking, develops self-discipline, self-organization and mutual learning, forms creative competence, and also promotes not only meaningful memorization of educational information and the use of computational skills in real life scenarios, but also the development of self-reflection and self-education skills.
Keywords:FC-pedagogy, inverted classroom technology, mathematics, mathematical competence, divergent thinking, convergent thinking, creativity, students.
