FEATURES OF TRANSLATION OF EUPHEMISMS IN CHILDREN ANIMATION (BY THE MATERIALS OF ENGLISH TO RUSSIAN TRANSLATION OF CARTOON FILMS)

This article is devoted to the specifics of the translation of euphemisms in children animated films. Euphemisms of children English animation have expressive, characterological and formative functions. A distinctive feature of euphemisms in children animation is their occasional nature and special lexical-semantic structure. The specificity of the translation of the author's euphemism is due to the preservation of both the original semantic structure in the target language and the preservation of the expression plan, which consists in creating a comic effect. The translator’s task is complicated by taking into account the cognitive characteristics of the recipient, observing the educational function of the material, and also relying on video sequences.
