METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO THE STUDY OF THE APPLICATION AS A NOMINATIVE-SYNTACTIC CATEGORY

The article proposes methodological approaches to the study of the secondary member of the sentence – the appendix – as a nominative syntactic category. The relevance of the problem lies in the fact that in the university practice of studying the secondary members of the proposal, insufficient attention is paid to the consideration of the application, while the application as a nominationally syntactic category is quite complex and ambiguous both in terms of functionality and expression. The author suggests possible ways to study the application at the university, based on a detailed classification of the basic and attributive components, their mutual location and communication methods, as well as the function performed (informative, evaluative, informative-evaluative) in the proposal.
