The study is conducted within the framework of the linguistic and cultural paradigm and aims to identify the features of the representation of this value concept in the linguistic worldviews of two different cultures. The work is structured in the IMRAD format. Introduction. The introduction addresses the problem of intercultural communication and the significance of studying key concepts that shape the worldview of a people. It is noted that "good" is a universal value, but its linguistic representation can vary significantly depending on cultural characteristics. Among the tools for studying concepts, special attention is given to phraseological units as carriers of cultural codes. The purpose of the study is to compare the ways of expressing the concept of "good" in Chinese and Russian languages, as well as to identify similarities and differences. Methods. The research methods include comparative, semantic, and contextual analysis. The material for the study consists of phraseological units from Russian and Chinese languages, selected from dictionaries and texts. The analysis also includes elements of componential analysis to clarify the meanings of fixed expressions. Results. The study reveals both common features in the interpretation of "good" and significant differences conditioned by differing worldview orientations. For example, in Russian, "good" is often associated with spiritual nobility and selflessness, whereas Chinese phraseological units emphasize harmony and adherence to social norms. Special attention is given to symbolism, metaphors, and cultural realities. Discussion and conclusion. The discussion highlights the role of cultural context in the formation of concepts.
