The article examines key aspects of educational activities on the basic competencies that a future singer should have - vocal and technical training and stagecraft. An important role in the development of vocal culture is played by a personality-oriented approach used in the educational activities of university vocal students, based on the basic competencies that a future singer should have - vocal and technical training and stagecraft.
The purpose of the study is to highlight the main features of the educational activities of future vocalists in higher professional education organizations in the formation of their vocal culture in the context of a comprehensive approach to their professional training. Despite the rich theoretical base devoted to various issues of musical and pedagogical education and, in particular, the development of professional competencies of future vocalists, the scientific literature to date has not sufficiently covered the issues of comprehensive pedagogical conditions for the formation of vocal culture in educational organizations. Most of them raise the problems of teaching individual disciplines for the training of future vocalists, while the close relationship between different educational modules is practically not considered. This aspect remains poorly studied, which determines the novelty of the study. As a result, key areas of educational activity (both theoretical and practical) are identified, which are aimed at achieving positive results in the creative performance activity of future vocalists.
