VIRTUAL AND AUGMENTED REALITY TECHNOLOGIES FOR DISTANCE TEACHING PHYSICAL EDUCATION AT A UNIVERSITY

The study relevance is due to the growing need for innovative and effective methods of teaching physical education in higher educational institutions, especially in the context of distance education. The research goal is to systematize the pedagogical experience of distance learning methods in physical education using virtual and augmented reality technologies in comparison with traditional teaching methods. To achieve this goal, the following objectives were solved: the potential of virtual and augmented reality technologies for distance learning of physical education at the university was investigated; The scientific and pedagogical discourse on the topic of the study is analyzed, and the results of the work are summarized. The research methodology is based on a systematic approach and includes a historiographical analysis of scientific literature on the topic of the study; the formal-logical method, systematization, generalization, comparison. The results of the study allow to assert that the use of virtual and augmented reality technologies in distance learning of physical education increases the motivation of students, improves the assimilation of the theoretical content of this academic discipline, and also allows students to achieve higher results in the field of physical education.
