ANALYSIS OF THE FEATURES OF MACHINE TRANSLATION OF SCIENTIFIC, BUSINESS AND ADVERTISING TEXTS

The aim of the research is to study the peculiarities of machine translation of texts of different types: scientific, business, advertising. Methodology. The specifics of scientific, business and advertising texts were analyzed in the framework of the experiment, the analysis of researchers' views on the applicability of modern machine translation systems was given, their strengths and weaknesses in working with texts of subject areas were revealed. The results showed that modern machine translators can be a useful tool in the activities of professional translators. However, intelligent systems have specific disadvantages when processing texts, such as: difficulties in transferring specialized terminology, preserving formal characteristics of business documentation and adequate transfer of emotional coloring of advertising messages. Research implications. The work contributes to a deeper understanding of the capabilities and limitations of various models of machine translation, providing valuable material for further improvement of algorithms of intelligent systems.
