ON PECULIARITIES OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE TRAINING OF NON-MILITARY PROFESSIONALS IN THE SPHERE OF EMERGENCY RELIEF AND HUMANITARIAN RESPONSE

The article is devoted to the problem of language training of specialists in the field of air navigation, law and advertising and public relations for work in the sphere of emergency situations. The authors discuss the necessity to apply the principles of interdisciplinary integration in teaching a professionally-oriented foreign language in a non-linguistic university. The article provides a detailed analysis of the students’ survey in order to find out the degree of their satisfaction with the quality of professionally-oriented language training. As a result of the study, proposals for the optimization of the language training curriculum are formulated.
