Reflection of nature protection traditions the Chuvash people in G.N. Volkov`s works

In article need of the organization of nature protection education of younger generation is proved by methods of national pedagogics. Ethnopedagogical works of G. N. Volkov are for this purpose analysed, traditions of the Chu-vash people on ecological education are opened, the role and experience of the scientific research institute of ethnopedagogics created on its initiative in the ChGPU of I.Ya. Yakovlev opened and directed by G. Volkov and staff of the laboratory of ethnopedagogics of the Chuvash RIO of ethnopedagogi-cal classes created by it onintroduction of national traditions in practice of educational institutions of the Chuvash Republic is shown. In the course of research the following methods were used: literary, comparative-historical, the analysis of literature, synthesis of the received information.
