Problematic approach in the study of environmental sciences as a basis for the formation of independent educational activity of students of professional college

The article considers the issues of development of self-learning activity of college students. The author gives the results of the analysis of the scientific literature of the research topic. Importance of a role of a problematic approach when training students of college in ecological disciplines is emphasized. Examples of the concrete problem situations used by the author. Also, we present the results of the study conducted at the Petrovsky College among students of the first and second years. The experiment was aimed at identification of extent of development of independence in participants of educational process. The results of experiment, suggest that the study of the problem of self-educational activity of students is important.
