The Development of the Students' Research Competence in the Educational Environment of the Modern Secondary School

The article dwells upon the methodological approaches and pedagogical conditions of students’ research competence development under in the process of transition to Federal State Education Standards (FSES) for general secondary education in its second edition. On the foundation of the theoretical analysis of literature and research data the attention is drawn to the development of the students’ personality, their abilities and research competence. The author shows the meaning, the structure, the content and the ways of the realization of the practice-based model of the student’s research competence development in the class and out-of-class activities through the integration of the system-&- activity, humanistic and creative, competence approaches. The role of the teacher is shown in this process.
