Structure and semantics of proverbial transformants

The current paper deals with structural-semantic organisation of proverbial transformants. Unlike proverbs themselves, their transformants depend on the context of use because their modification is realised in a particular context. Proverbial transformants serve as one of the means of a language game. Transformations of proverbs are motivated by native speakers who actively use them.
