Non-ferrous metallurgy and mining industry of the north caucasus in 1941-1942

The article is based on a broad spectrum of archive sources. It dwells on the analysis of the activity of all governmental bodies, aimed at the organization and expanding of military production, including modernization of the existing enterprises, building of new plants, creation of quality cooperative and production linkages, improvement of creative activity, strengthening of scientific research on military topics, addressing the staffing issues.
