The presented article allows to receive versatile ideas about formation of the image of the teacher in the educational organization. It reveals a number of key concepts related to the characterization of the image of the modern teacher. Recommendations are given to teachers on the organization of effective imitation, determining the prospects for self-improvement of professional skills of teachers. The image of the teacher is presented as an emotionally colored stereotype of perception of the teacher's image in the minds of pupils, colleagues, social surroundings, in the mass consciousness. The authors disclose a number of concepts related to the characterization of the teacher's image. Particular attention in the article is given to the problem of the development of human uniqueness and the realization by the personality of one's own uniqueness in pedagogical activity.
