The contemporary art: defining the lines

The article appeals to a problem of periodization of the Contemporary Art, existing in humanitarian knowledge. The Contemporary Art concept is difficult to be considered in the chronological aspect. This statement is proved by a large amount of versions, for lack of, however, consensus concerning a report point. Though the author of the article puts forward its essential characteristics, making an attempt to reveal them through the worldview changes of nowadays, including such factors as: the art creativity boarders extension and elaboration, technogenic and globalization factors, the recipient’s interactivity and self-updating aspects in a process of an art object creating.
