The role of the confessional factor in the development of the political system of Russia

The urgency of the problem under study is conditioned by the necessity of studying and spreading the positive national experience of interreligious relations in the conditions of increasing conflict situation in the world on the ethno-religious grounds. The purpose of the article is to reveal the potential of interreligious harmony in achieving sustainable development, as well as the stages of developing the traditions of peaceful ways of coexistence of peoples, taking into account their historical memory.
