Quranic motives in the work of Russian romantic poets of the first half of the XIX century

The article examines the artistic features of the embodiment of the Quranic motifs in the work of Russian Romantic poets of the first half of the 19th century. The connection of this current with the processes occurring in the literature, the poetic originality and the functional role of the Quranic motifs in Russian Romanticism are considered. The criteria for the study of oriental motifs in Russian romantic literature are generalized.
