Linguistic features of Spanish as spoken by Galician speakers in bilingual envirinment

Galicia is an autonomous region of Spain, a historical region in the north-west of the country, which is formed within the boundaries of the local indigenous population - gallegos. This is a region with an original culture. The official languages of Galicia are Spanish (Castellano) and Galician (gallego). It should be noted that the majority of the population speaks both languages. Thus, in this region of Spain, there was a contact of two languages and a situation of bilingualism occurred that is quite interesting from the point of view of linguistics. The aim of this paper is to study the main stages of bilingual environment forming in Galicia and present the major characteristics of Spanish in Galicia, where certain linguistic solutions of Spanish came into contact with Galician.
