This paper is based on research of manuscript “Panshi zonglun- short variant of ancient Chinese history by Yang Zi Pan Shi Rong with comments”. This manuscript is a first Russian translation of Chinese historical book. It was translate from Manchu into Russian language in the 1746 by Illarion Rossohin. Today, there is only one copy of this text. It is kept in Saint-Petersburg department of Archive of Russian Academy of sciences. For many years scholars thought, what first books about history of China, translated into Russian language were “Baqi tongzhi” (“Description of eight –banner Manchu people and army”) and “Zizhi tongjian gangmu” (“Comprehensive Mirror in Aid of Governance”). Both these text were translate to Russian by Rossohin too. But it was identificade, what first text about this theme, translated into Russian is “Panshi zonglun- short variant of ancient Chinese history by Yang Zi Pan Shi Rong with comments”. Purpose of this paper is in learning of specifics on this manuscript. This paper is a first special research in Russian language about text “Panshi zonglun”
