Features of the language representation of the semantic opposition «light - darkness» in the characters of the main characters of the story of L. Petrushevskaya «The Goddess of the Park»

The article considers the story of L. Petrushevskaya from the point of view of the functioning of the semantic opposition "light - darkness" in her as one of the key in the mythopoetic system of the writer. The vocabulary-semantic field of light and darkness is realized at the level of images of the main characters. Features of the language representation of opposition members "light - darkness" and their functional significance are revealed through the analysis of nominations of heroes, their «topos», external and internal porters, and at the level of the plot.
