The article deals with the peculiarities of pedagogical discourse, as well as pedagogical strategies and tactics that contribute to the realization of the main goal of pedagogical discourse – the creation of conditions for the formation of an integral person, which is carried out by means of communication. The comparative analysis of speech behavior of teachers of schools of Russia and the USA according to verbal implementation of strategies and tactics is carried out.
