Method of segmentation of students in spheres of their educational and extracurricular activity

The purpose of the work is to determine the optimal method of students' segmentation in the fields of their educational and extracurricular activities. The object of research was universities that occupy various positions in Russian attractiveness ratings. The subject of the study is the main relationship between the interests of students and the university as an independent unit. The basic approaches of universities to modernize current systems are identified. A universal student segmentation algorithm is proposed based on the assessment of previous achievements with recommendations for the described segmentation method. The article is intended to consider an alternative student flow management solution within the framework of university development by synchronizing the interests of students and organizations.
