The article deals with the problem of understanding one of the key concepts, the concept of teacher, in different cultures: Russian, Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar. The purpose of the study is to analyze the conceptual sphere of the teacher in three national cultures, represented in the associative and evaluative reactions of students of different age groups: schoolchildren, students and adults.
These studies are presented in nuclear, peripheral and single reactions in percentage ratio and interpretation of the results from the point of view of cognitive, sociolinguistic and linguoculturological approaches. The basic values, national stereotypes and key concepts of the educational process and the core of this process - teachers are reflected. The negative and positive connotations of the concept verbalized in the speech of students and schoolchildren are clearly presented, as well as positive reactions in the responses of respondents of older generations, which in turn indicates the transformation of the concept of teacher and education in modern society in various national worldviews. The study was conducted in the form of an experiment with free associations.
