The article discusses the relevance of research aimed at determining the characteristics of the development of children with disabilities. The relationship of personal characteristics and effectiveness in the development of program material is noted. The authors present the results of a study of some personality traits in preschoolers with disabilities. Possible directions of corrective activity are indicated.
