The purpose of the article is to describe the lexico-thematic groups of Russian regional vocabulary in the "Yukaghir-Russian Dictionary". This lexicographical work was not previously considered as a source for the study of Russian regional vocabulary. The work uses structural and functional research methods, as well as techniques for partial sampling and analysis of lexicographic sources. Our work is based on the works of the Magadan school of regional linguistics. The article discusses the following lexico-thematic groups of words: 1) "Household items", 2) "Buildings and structures", 3) "Wardrobe", 4) "Religion", 5) "Nature", 6) "Livestock", 7) "Food", 8) "Transport" and 9) "Society". The article notes that regionalisms help to more accurately convey the meanings of certain Yukaghir lexemes, which makes it possible to more widely acquaint the readers of the dictionary we are interested in with the linguistic picture of the Yukaghir world, their way of life. The use of Russian regional words in the Yukaghir-Russian Dictionary indicates the demand for regional lexical means of the Russian language in the speech of the Yukaghirs, which indicates the existence of the Yukaghir “sub-region” of the Russian regional language in the North-East, which requires a separate study.
