The article is devoted to the analysis of the specificity of some prepositions, which represent spatial relations in the professional speech of aviation specialists. The authors consider the peculiarities of the discourse of radiotelephone communication, as well as clarify the concept of airspace and its linguistic characteristics. Examples of the standard radiotelephony phraseology with spatial prepositions are given, their meanings and applications are analyzed.
