This paper examines the structural and compositional peculiarities of modern public political speech which is understood in the context of traditional rhetoric and political linguistics as a thoroughly premeditated and composed verbal product with a rigorous composition and a consistent presentation of ideas to produce a speech impact on the mass recipient. As a result of a study of theoretical and practical material, it was found that the majority of modern political public speeches are constructed according to the classical three-part rhetorical canon, which consists of an introduction, a main part, and a conclusion, while allowing for an expansion of the structure.
