The dramatic text is a genre, but it differs from other types in that it is theatrical in nature. Drama differs from other works in that the primary purpose of a playwright's work is not only to be read by the audience, but also to be performed on stage for the enjoyment of the audience. The main part of the text is dialogue, which usually consists of dialogues, monologues, and narration. The lyric is the primary means of presenting the plot, portraying the characters, and implementing the theme of the play.
