an authentic song as a means of teaching foreign students the Russian language has a number of advantages; its use in the educational process could contribute to a more effective formation of foreign language communication. The authors consider song as a way in a relaxed way to memorize new vocabulary, develop auditory pronunciation skills and get acquainted with the culture of the language being studied. In this article, the authors also offer techniques for learning Russian with songs at each stage of working with it.
