The study of speech etiquette does not lose its relevance in linguistic science. The study of communicative behavior is an important part in the linguistic picture of the world, since the use of correctly chosen etiquette formulas of the speech genre is necessary for successful communication in intercultural communication. This article presents a brief theoretical overview material reflecting the principles and functions of speech etiquette; lexical means of expressing etiquette formulas based on communicative situations.
