GENERAL PRINCIPLES OF TEACHING PHYSICAL CULTURE TO UNIVERSITY STUDENTS FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF AESTHETICS

The purpose of teaching the discipline "Physical Culture and Sport" in higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation of an unsportsmanlike orientation, implementing basic general education programs, is to create conditions for ensuring a high quality of life for the population of the country and educating the principles of a healthy lifestyle, as well as increasing the wellness potential of the younger generation based on the modernization of the physical education teaching system in accordance with social demands society and the long-term tasks of the development of the state in the modern world. Physical education classes for students should take into account the aesthetic aspect of the final long-term training goals, which significantly increases students' motivation for regular sports training and forms health-saving skills, while ensuring the creation of conditions for the acquisition of skills and abilities that contribute to improving personal indicators of physical fitness, endurance, flexibility, strength and dexterity, thereby contributing to the development of a wide range of universal competencies required to perform various types of activities, beyond the scope of physical education. In addition, special attention should be paid to balanced nutrition of students, as it is not only the basis of a healthy lifestyle, but also a fundamental concept for creating a strong, hardy body and a stable immune system. All these aspects are interrelated with aesthetics, which in modern realities becomes a good motivation for students, stimulating them to play sports regularly.
